Malaria antigen Pv/Pf card test is used for the qualitative and differential detection of Pv (pLDH) and Pf (HRP-II) in human whole blood to help the rapid diagnosis of malaria. It is based on lateral flow immunoassay. In the experimental formulation, highly specific monoclonal antibodies against pLDH and HRP-II were used to cover nitrocellulose film and colloidal gold conjugate, showing good sensitivity and specificity for Pv and Pf detection. The samples were collected with fresh human blood, and the results could be obtained within 5-20 minutes
